Flowforms

Cape Town, South Africa. Online seminar series on the quality of water in human life.

Water is an indispensable part of human life: we drink it when thirsty, wash our bodies and clothes with it, water our houseplants and gardens with it, and are ourselves composed of 50 to 70 percent water. Moreover, water holds powerful symbolic significance. It evokes memories, possesses an inherent rhythm, and reflects the infinite nature of life. In a series of online seminars which started on June 9, 2026, the South-Africa-based Online Academy for Social Art (OASA) offers a space for those interested to explore the spiritual associations of water. Central to this is the study of John Wilkes’ “Flowforms”—structures capable of revealing water’s living, dynamic nature. During the sessions, participants learn how “flow” can manifest in the human biography and how they can strengthen this water-like quality in their own lives.
