Fine-tuning of Consciousness

Florence, Italy. A new school for morphological and phenomenological sciences opens in Italy.

The Italian city of Florence—capital of Tuscany—is renowned for its numerous Renaissance art and architectural masterpieces. Recently, the Phaenomenon School was founded there with support from—among others—the Italian Association for Biodynamic Agriculture, the Anthroposophical Society in Italy, and the Italian Society for Anthroposophical Medicine. The scientific foundations of the school’s programs are based on Johann Wolfgang von Goethe’s morphology and Rudolf Steiner’s Goetheanism. Through empirical observation, practical experiments, mathematics, and applied arts, students learn how to deepen their thinking and their understanding of phenomenological questions. A particular emphasis is placed on refining consciousness—both in its mental, reflective dimension and in its imaginative, symbolic, and intuitive potential. The programs are open to all interested individuals, and especially to educators, philosophers, physicians, therapists, and artists.
