Research and Exchange

Mongarlowe, Australia. The opening of the Australian Agricultural Section.

On June 7, 2024, the Australian branch of the Agriculture Section was founded—100 years after Rudolf Steiner’s lectures, which we know today as the Agriculture Course. The name of the organization, Agriculture Section Branch, was chosen intentionally: it indicates the link between its work in Australia and the work of the global Agriculture Section in other countries. The branch provides a forum for people working in agriculture who are interested in both anthroposophy and spiritual science to come together. It offers a space for organized exchange and joint research. One year later, on June 6 to 9, 2025, the inaugural conference of the Australian Agriculture Section Branch will take place. The title, “Exploring the Essence of Biodynamics—Its Role in the Future of Agriculture,” highlights the scientific focus of the event. The English-language program includes lectures, workshops, meditations, eurythmy, and excursions to biodynamic farms.
