Guidance for New Teachers

The best possible support for the next generation of educators

The Center for Anthroposophy (CfA) in the United States, in collaboration with the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America, is now offering a mentorship training program. (This year, from January 13 to November 16, 2024.) The CfA is responding to the high demand from Waldorf schools that want to create an empathetic and supportive environment for their young teachers. Experienced Waldorf teachers will take part in the training to become mentors for new teachers at Waldorf schools. Participants in the ten-month training course will deepen their individual capacities in order to be able to offer interest, understanding, and competence in support of new teachers at the start of their teaching careers. The English-language training will take place in monthly online meetings, with a collaborative in-person residency in summer.
