Santiago de Chile, Chile. Foreign language teaching in a Spanish-speaking country.
In cooperation with the Chilean training institute Educación, Filosofía y Arte (EFA), Alanus University of Arts and Social Sciences is offering the certificate course “Teaching foreign languages in Spanish-speaking Waldorf schools.” The three-year, in-service training course is aimed in particular at teachers who want to teach in countries where Spanish is the main language. The course qualifies participants to work as independent Waldorf teachers in the field of foreign languages. The course content is taught in weekly online seminars, in digital intensive block weeks and once a year in a twelve-day face-to-face seminar that takes place in a Latin American country. They cover the basics of Waldorf education, foreign language didactics and artistic exercises. The course usually starts in March and interested parties can register at any time.
