Since the beginning of the year, a pilot project has been underway in Denmark to improve the marketing of biodynamic products. Demeter Denmark is collaborating with Signatur, an online shop specializing in organic products, supplements, and natural cosmetics. As part of this collaboration, Demeter Denmark and Signatur have, for example, jointly exhibited at the Bolig Mad Design trade fair, participated in the Organic Tuesdays networking events, and been guests on one of Denmark’s most popular podcasts, “Her Går Det Godt” [”It’s Going Well Here”,] which has approximately 121,000 monthly listeners. The focus on local partnerships and direct contact with regional businesses and consumers has proven very fruitful for the biodynamic market development. Although the project is still in its early stages, new professional connections have already been established, and the visibility of biodynamic farming in Denmark has been strengthened.
