Dornach, Switzerland. International advanced training in medicine and curative education.
On September 30, 2026, the international, interdisciplinary CALM-LD training program—offered jointly by the Medical Section and the Section for Inclusive Social Development at the Goetheanum—begins. This English-language program is aimed at all individuals who are trained in the fields of anthroposophic medicine and anthroposophic therapies as well as for those who work in anthroposophic institutions. Over the course of two and a half years, the program provides a professional, advanced deepening of diagnostic, therapeutic, and interpersonal capacities for working with children and adults with complex needs. Grounded in the anthroposophic understanding of the human being, the curriculum encompasses an expansion of therapeutic practice, approaches to self-reflection within a professional context, artistic and movement-based therapeutic modalities, and insights drawn from conventional medicine. The program takes place through a combination of online sessions and in-person meetings held in Dornach and in the United Kingdom.
