The theme of this year’s agricultural conference, “You Never Farm Alone”, shaped a gathering rich in encounters, learning, and inspiration. The resilience and determination of the farmers reminded us that agriculture is more than just land and crops—it is also people and community.
Morning sessions, working with the Michael Letter, created an atmosphere of personal reflection and genuine connection. Then, speakers from around the world presented their practical experiences and ideas. We discovered that communities often face similar challenges while creating local solutions. This reinforced our awareness that farmers everywhere are part of a larger movement, with anthroposophy offering a shared framework for orientation. Reports from various countries highlighted the commitment and perseverance of farmers who continue working towards a sustainable future, and opened space for personal reflection, thoughtful dialogues, and meaningful encounters.
Despite difficult conditions faced by many farming communities today, participants described the collegial atmosphere as inspiring. Conversations sparked valuable connections and insights, and the strong sense of community across the Goetheanum campus gave the gathering depth and lasting impact.
The conference theme—”You Never Farm Alone”—was not only discussed but truly embodied. Participants left with renewed hope, enthusiasm, and inspiration for their farms, work, and communities.
