Jena, Germany. A conference to celebrate the original impulse.
June 18th marks the hundredth anniversary of “Lauenstein Day”, the day on which Rudolf Steiner, coming from Koberwitz, visited the young curative education initiative being founded in Jena on the Lauenstein. Since then, the day has been celebrated in many institutions around the world as the founding day of anthroposophical curative education. The International Circle of Friends and Sponsors of the Ita Wegman Institute for Basic Anthroposophical Research is delighted to be able to celebrate this event with a festive conference in Jena from June 14 to 16 at the historic site. We want to approach the original impulse from different perspectives and lift it into the present in order to carry it powerfully into the future. Lectures by Ekkehard Fiedler, Matthias Girke, Bernd Ruf and Peter Selg, among others, will be complemented by an artistic program by Felicia and Michael Birkenmeier from Basel and eurythmic contributions by Barbara Mraz.
