Chestnut Ridge, New York. A new introductory anthroposophical course in the US state of New York.
If you live in the United States and would like to be introduced to anthroposophy from the ground up and become artistically active, you have the opportunity to participate in the part-time English-language course Beginning Anthroposophy from September 7, 2024, to June 1, 2025.
Organized by the Threefold Educational Foundation, the course comprises 14 face-to-face meetings in which participants will learn about anthroposophical teachings through lectures, joint discussions, and artistic work. They are thus introduced not only to a spiritual world of thought but also to the embodied practices of eurythmy, sculpture, painting, and speech formation. During the course, participants will also research their own field of interest, which they will present through a medium of their choice at the end of the course. The aim of the introductory course is to provide a deeper understanding of the threefold nature of the human being by incorporating body, soul, and spirit.
