A year of uncertainty draws to a close, and on Christmas Eve, the stream of crises and catastrophes fades into the silence of the Holy Nights. This hiatus in time opens up a space into which the future can be invited as an ideal possibility. In the darkness of the pause, a curtain rises; in twelve miniatures, hope becomes a guiding light for the soul.

Aina Bergsma studied sociology, cultural studies and philosophy in Oslo, Basel and Bernkastel-Kues. She completed her basic studies in anthroposophy at the Goetheanum and was a scholarship holder at the Kulturimpuls research centre. She has been working in curative education for several years.
Hao Bu absolvierte ein Studium des Maschinenbaus in China, der Kunst in Basel sowie der Pädagogik in Dornach. Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt liegt auf dem Geistigen in Farbe, Denken und Sprache. Im Rahmen eines Chinesischunterrichts in Dornach widmet er sich dem Erwecken der im Chinesischen verborgenen Heilkraft für die europäische Kultur sowie dem Erkennen des Ur-Sprachgeistes.
Bastiaan Baan arbeitete als Lehrer in den Niederlanden, bevor er 1981 zum Priester geweiht wurde. Er war Priester der Christengemeinschaft in den Niederlanden und Leiter des Priesterseminars in Spring Valley, NY. Mehrere seiner Bücher über Spiritualität und Religion sind in englischer Sprache veröffentlicht worden.
Vesna means spring in Old Slavic. Then use the following pronunciation: “Forscht-neritsch” and finally, “Les-jak.” Vesna, from Slovenia, is a pharmacist and runs a biodynamic farm where, among other things, she grows medicinal plants and processes them into food supplements, teas, and cosmetic products. She founded the Sapientia association for further education in natural sciences and she leads the anthroposophical pharmaceutical-medical and Goethean initiatives in her country. Vesna is now a co-leader of the Natural Science Section at the Goetheanum and a trainer in Goethean science.
John Bloom advises organizations, and designs and facilitates collaborative dialogues, programs, and workshops that address the intersection of money and spirit in personal and social transformation. He developed a spiritually based leadership program and has written extensively about governance and aspects of threefold consciousness. John lives in San Francisco and was General Secretary of the US Anthroposophical Society, 2016–2023.
Christine Gruwez wurde 1942 in Belgien geboren. Sie studierte Philosophie, Altphilologie und Iranistik sowie Waldorfpädagogik. Sie ist Dozentin für Waldorfpädagogik in Antwerpen. Ihre Kernthemen sind Iran, Islam und Manichäismus. Sie arbeitet weltweit in Seminaren und als Publizistin. Zuletzt erschien ihr Buch ‹Die Wunde und das Recht auf Verletzlichkeit› (2023).
