In rural Castalla, a group of consumers lives in their own houses free of ownership and tenancies.
Following the co-living/convivir model, a group of people over 55 years old has embarked on an alternative form of cohabitation and ownership. The cooperative actively tries to live together and to link social and productive initiatives in the village. This should not only increase stronger social ties but also promote smaller productions and old crafts. The connection of the generations with each other, as well as ecological and economic questions, are paramount in ‹AlicanteConVivencia›. The project members have found a new form of shared ownership in which they can neither rent nor buy, but instead actively participate.
