Brussels, Belgium/Strasbourg, France. Anthroposophical perspectives in interreligious dialogue.

This year the European Alliance of Initiatives for Applied Anthroposophy (ELIANT) has become a new member of the Committee on Interreligious and Interconfessional Dialogue. The committee is part of the Conference of International Non-Governmental Organizations, or INGO Conference. The INGO Conference comprises more than 400 organizations from all sectors of civil society that contribute their expertise to the Council of Europe. The Council’s main task is to ensure EU countries’ adherence to human rights, democracy, and the rule of law in Europe through measures such as monitoring, auditing, political education, and legal interventions. Through its participation, ELIANT has the opportunity to contribute anthroposophical perspectives to interreligious dialogue on human dignity, education, and the ethical use of technology and power.
