The Future Shapers

Dornach, Switzerland. A young people’s initiative.

To have an optimistic look into the future, with everything that’s happening in the world right now, is not easy. Younger people in particular can’t help but wonder how they will cope with the ongoing crises in the decades to come. However, a small group of them looks towards the future with hope, enthusiasm, and commitment. They call themselves Future Shapers, are up to 40 years old, and have connected within the international network of the Goetheanum Section for Inclusive Social Development. They see their mission as promoting greater inclusion and better social conditions worldwide—not alone but collaboratively and through regular exchange with each other. They meet online, organize conferences, and work in working groups. Four of these young Future Shapers share their work, their inspiration, and their motivation in short videos on the section’s website.
