Graz, Austria. The second Sekem Festival in Austria.
From October 10 to 12, 2025, the second international Sekem Festival will take place in Graz, Austria. The English and German-language festival program begins with a one-day short congress dedicated to an economy of the future. The four main core strategies of the Egyptian organization Sekem will be presented, and participants will have the opportunity to talk directly to CEO Helmy Abouleish and other executives. The following days will focus on important guiding questions in a collective design process: What wants to emerge? What can go? In Sekem, in our individual social environment, and in the world? Based on the approach that sustainable change for the common good can only arise from collective thinking and diverse influences, the questions will be addressed in a collaboration between festival participants and members of the Sekem community.
