USA. An online workshop on early childhood play.
In collaboration with the Anthroposophical Society in America, Lisa Miccio and Sondi Eugene are offering the online event “The Dynamics of Play: Exploring the Current State of Play & What the Pandemic Has Taught Us” on February 23 and 24. The workshop addresses the importance of play in early childhood development and explores the impact of the Covid pandemic on play environments and thus on the mental health of children and young people. The event is open to Waldorf teachers who work primarily with toddlers and children in the 1st–3rd grades. The workshop will offer science-based suggestions for creating safe and supportive play environments in their respective contexts.
