English Issue 50/2025
Fifteen years ago, a new production of Rudolf Steiner’s Mystery Dramas was performed at the Goetheanum. It was a minor revolution: eurythmy took center stage and the magnificent backdrops disappeared to create an open space of light and color—a leap from the visual arts to the purely speech and musical arts, a transition through the eye of the needle of inner silence and darkness to let the colors of the soul shine forth. In this issue, we hope to convey some impressions from this production, which will be performed for the last time at the Goetheanum at Christmas.
