Seven years have passed since a thousand kindergarten teachers last gathered at the Goetheanum to dedicate themselves to the topic of childhood. Now they have chosen three magic words from early childhood as the central theme for this year’s conference: kindness, strength, and love. What may seem contradictory is actually an enhancement: through love, strength becomes good, and through strength, love becomes unshakable. Unshakable in its goodness—that is what “kindness” means.
