In 1924, Rudolf Steiner stepped up his presentations on the karmic past of individual entities and karmic laws and also spoke about the karma of the Anthroposophical Society. In his “Last Address” on September 28, 1924, he took a surprising step for his listeners: at the center of his presentation was the series of incarnations of the individuality of Novalis, whose earlier incarnations Rudolf Steiner found in Raphael, John the Baptist and Elijah. Rudolf Steiner had already spoken earlier about this individuality and its incarnations. This evening, he described Elijah as having formed a unity with Lazarus-John. Thus, in addition to the horizontal description of the line of incarnation, there is a vertical influence that connects it with a line of incarnation of Hiram, Lazarus John, Christian Rosenkreutz, and the Count of St. Germain—a new step in the realization of karma.
On October 8, 2024, a new weekly series of lectures started at the Goetheanum, lasting until November 26. Christiane Haid and Christine Gruwez opened with the prophet Elijah, and Mechtild Oltmann and Wolf-Ulrich Klünker will continue with John the Baptist. (The lectures are held in German.)
