Nexus News Says Goodbye

London, England. The anthroposophical news agency is closing its doors.

The Nexus News Agency (NNA), an international news agency headquartered in the UK, has been enriching the media landscape since 1998 with anthroposophically-oriented perspectives on current developments in politics and society, ecology, education, business, agriculture, art, and science. Now, after 26 years, the NNA has been forced to end its work. The main reason for this is the newly incurred technical costs that the editorial team, which works mainly on a voluntary basis and is financed by donations, cannot afford. What remains of the NNA is a large archive with many reports on the organization’s website, which will continue to be accessible to anyone interested. In their newsletter, the editor-in-chief, Christian von Arnim, and the editor responsible for the German service, Cornelie Unger-Leistner, expressed their hope that the editorial team would come together in a new form at a later date.
