Mysterious Adolescence

McMinnville, Oregon. How can Waldorf education grow with young people?

“Starlight Rays in Darkened Times” is an online seminar series offered by the US Center for Anthroposophy starting September 14. The English-language seminars are aimed at educators who work with young people, as well as interested parents. The content deals with topics that are particularly relevant in the life phase and education of young people today: Diversity and sexuality, teaching math in the age of artificial intelligence, the role of sleep amongst widespread sleep disorders, and the impact of teachers’ inner development on their relationships with students. Central to this is the question of how Waldorf education can continuously grow to meet the needs of young people at this mysterious age. The program runs from September 2024 to February 2025, with two online meetings per month.
