Basel/Dornach, Switzerland. Spiritual surrender instead of resistance.
Christine Gruwez and Mathias Forster from the Foundation for the Promotion of the Mani Intention are organizing two lectures on March 8 and 15, and three interactive seminars on March 9, 16, and 17, on the topic of “Moral Imagination and Creative Resignation.” This is about the opposite of effort and willpower in the face of resistance and challenge. In actions related to the spiritual, greater effort does not necessarily lead to the desired result. Instead, renunciation and surrender or even creative resignation are necessary. The Fund for the Promotion of the Mani Intention has been supporting conferences, lectures, and seminars covering scientific and spiritual research topics since 2017. The lecture and seminar series, held by Christine Gruwez, is a cooperation between the Fund and the Goetheanum. Events will take place at the Christian Community in Basel and at Haus Haldeck and the South Studio of the Goetheanum in Dornach.
