Mullumbimby, Australia. What is the spiritual significance of annual festivals for children?
In addition to its year-long online courses, the anthroposophical education platform EduCareDo organizes complementary events in which what has been learned can be experienced and deepened in person. On August 25, shortly before Michaelmas, an English-language workshop entitled “Nourishing Children with Festivals” will take place in Byron Shire in the Australian state of New South Wales. The event’s content will work with lessons from the courses “Spirit-led Education for a Spirit-led Life” and “Foundations of Anthroposophy,” which will be available to participants. In the workshop, parents and teachers will address the question of how annual festivals and celebrations can introduce children to a spiritually rich life and nourish them spiritually. The event will also include a eurythmy lesson, space for mutual exchange, and a shared lunch.
