Born in 1979, he studied natural sciences and philosophy in Berlin. After four years as a high school teacher in Basel, he worked as a research assistant at the Natural Science Section of the Goetheanum from 2011 to 2018. He completed his doctorate on mistletoe at the University of Witten/Herdecke. He now works as an independent researcher, author, and seminar leader, and lives on the Isle of Mull in Scotland.
