Depending on political and military decisions, a family may lose their home, their income, or loved ones overnight. The \u201cHealing &amp; Learning\u201d emergency education project at the Nawa Center in Deir al-Balah offers children some continuity and reliability by keeping its doors open every day. There, they receive psychosocial support and can participate in educational programs, as well as artistic and athletic activities. Despite everything the children have to endure, the pictures they paint depict houses, trees, flowers, and the sea, according to Amal Al-Shurafa, the association\u2019s project manager. The children still dream. \u201cHealing &amp; Learning\u201d provides a safe space for these dreams.
