Who are you? Who are we to do this work? <br>We are the ones who build communities in the jungle<br>Who dedicate ourselves to reforestation<br>And know that you cannot sell a living being<br>We are the ones who build natural buildings<br>And celebrate seasonal festivals<br>Who believe in the healing power of stories<br>And who practice silent listening<br>The beekeepers of inclusion<br>We are the ones who seek \u201c\u2026the secrets of the world<br>Through the processes of illness and healing<br>In the depths of human nature.\u201d<br>We are the ones who have suffered under oppression<br>And we are the ones who enjoy privilege at the expense of others<br>Despite our best efforts<br>We are the ones who are angry and forgiving at the same time<br>We are the ones who have survived war and genocide<br>And personal abuses, not only at the hands of strangers,<br>But also at those of our neighbours and loved ones.<br>And we are the ones that have been granted the courage<br>To heal ourselves by healing others<br>We are the ones who have incarnated into bodies<br>And know that one day we will die<br>And that even then we can still be there for each other<br>And yet we are the ones who know<br>That at least here, for this moment together<br>\u201cNo one is going to die\u201d.<br>We are the ones who are thinking rational thoughts<br>And practicing our happy skills side by side<br>And we are the ones who are learning to listen<br>And listen and listen again to each other<br>So that we do not just ask, \u201cWho am I?\u201d, But also, \u201cWho are you?\u201d<br>To do what we must do<br>We are the ones who have always been<br>And yet are forever for the first time<br>The healers that go out alone<br>And come back together<br>To return once more to the happy tree<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Image <\/strong>Dawn Nilo performs on the Goetheanum stage.
