What was it like to finally meet in person again after a long separation\u2014or purely virtual communication\u2014when the corona restrictions were eased? For many, the experience of coming together again brought joy, warmth, enrichment, and vitality. It was not uncommon for people to realize what they had really been missing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the consequences and challenges of this limited connection and perception have not disappeared from our everyday therapeutic practice. In fact, they continue to increase and intensify as part of a process that has emerged with the increasing dependence on a mechanized form of medicine and has experienced an exponential acceleration in recent years\u2014be it through laboratory tests, imaging procedures, genetic examinations, telemedical consultation, or artificial intelligence.
