This first workshop focuses on understanding the dynamics of escalation and de-escalation. Participants in the course will learn to view conflict in the workplace constructively and to rethink it as a useful tool for positive change. The training also teaches what makes an organization \u201cconflict-capable\u201d and how disputes can be used specifically to improve collegial relationships and group dynamics. These practices and skills, which are also applicable in everyday life, will be worked through and deepened in the second part of the course.
