The trip runs from Boyne Valley on the East coast to the Aran Islands in the West. Visits include megalithic places of worship still to be seen at Loughcrew and Newgrange, the tall Celtic crosses &#8211; evidence of Celtic Christianity &#8211; at Durrow and Kells, and ruins of the famous monastery at Clonmacnoise or sites of Saint Brigid at Kildare.
